Janet Leigh,
best known for her role as the victim stabbed to death in the shower in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and was once married to Tony Curtis, has died at the age of 77.
She suffered from vasculitis, which is an inflammation of the blood vessels, for the past year.
Leigh died peacefully at home with her family at her side.
As the report mentions, she was discovered by former actress Norma Shearer in the 1940s. She had already been married twice at the time of her discovery, and she was married four times (the last husband for many years) in all.
