surely share part of the blame for the financial mess this country is in, but let's face it: The real problem lies in the growing inequality between the economic elite and everybody else.
Reich looks into the reasons for this, but the chief reason as far as I am concerned is this inequality was a result of deliberate actions by the United States government under both Democratic and Republican administrations to destroy the middle class and create deteriorating living standards.
It's all because Friedmanite cultists took over the government.
