I Don't Think This is Online,

but I found the Parade article today on the "ten worst living dictators" rather funny. Writer David Wallechinsky (of the Book of Lists fame) consulted with various human rights organizations and came up with this list:

1. Kim Jong II, North Korea

2. King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah, Saudi Arabia

3. Saddam Hussein, Iraq

4. Charles Taylor, Liberia

5. Than Shwe, Burma

6. Teodoro Obiang Nguema, Equatoria Guinea

7. Saparmurad Niyazov, Turkmenistan

8. Muammar Al-Qaddafi, Libya

9. Fidel Castro, Cuba

10. Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus

Funny how our very own George W. Bush didn't make the list. Of course, he hasn't committed mass murder of American citizens as of yet, nor has he cramped down on "freedoms" to the extent of some of these other illustrious dictators. He prefers to take his time, using the ingenious weapon of mass distraction to get people thinking about his foreign policy while he strips away human rights here at home and destroys the economy.
