Why Should Kucinich Bother?

He's trying to alter his stance on abortion to reflect a more pro-choice stance. Unfortunately, this won't help him if by some chance he wins the nomination. Republicans would merely claim he "flip-flops" on all issues and not stand for anything. It's very likely the numerous other candidates for the Democratic nomination will point this out in the primaries.

You know, Dennis Kucinich might be a great guy and make a fine president, but being antiabortion is a loser for any Democrat. The religious right nuts aren't going to vote for him anyway, and not all Catholics want to overturn Roe v. Wade.
