More Good News

Millions of the poor are being screwed out of medical benefits thanks to the shitty economy. Some Republicans, who actually give a shit about poor people, have joined with Democrats in proposing more money be sent to the states, but the Asshole-in-Chief is against it.

Bush and supporters who hate the poor say the program is "unsustainable." Bullshit. It's because they have squandered vast sums of money on the rich and stupid wars in an attempt to destroy government spending.

Of course, Medicaid helps millions of the poor while also paying for nursing home coverage after individuals have exhausted all of their savings. As one person put it, Medicaid is the foundation of the health care system in this country. Fuck around with that and the whole damned system will come tumbling down.

But it doesn't matter to the Fraud and his rich supporters. They can afford to pay for their benefits, or, in the case of the government wingnuts, the taxpayers foot the bill.
