The War Isn't Only In Iraq
Democratic Party chairman Terry McAuliffe worries about the candidates fighting among themselves, thus hurting their chances to beat Bush in the 2004 election. This is most likely directed at Howard Dean, perhaps the most critical of the candidates of his opponents.
Well, if they hadn't been so hell-bent on getting Gore to step aside to indulge in their fantasies they would beat Bush they wouldn't be in this mess. Gore was the only chance they had, but remember he was of the "past." Well, the past looks pretty damned good to me compared to the mess we have now. Infighting among Democrats is what Rove's boys are counting on, and there's no doubt at all they will help it along.
