on Bill "the Greek" Bennett.

Koopersmith is highly critical of Joshua Green writing the piece on Bennett, saying if Bennett loses eight million dollars in the casinos, that's strictly his business.

I am not so sure I agree with that. The trouble is that Bennett all too easily criticizes others for their failings. Just because he's in denial about his gambling addiction--and face it, when you lose that much cash in the clubs, it's an addiction--doesn't make him more credible. Sure, we should focus our criticism on his intellectual dishonesty rather than his personal excesses. But he shouldn't be given a free pass.
