Here's a quote even more outrageous than William Kristol's quote below:

"I wouldn't look personally at the $8 million figure and say 'My God, he's got a gambling problem,' Scoblete concluded. "Instead of buying yachts, this is what he is doing."

Apparently to the zillionaires, $8 million is just chump change. Nope there's no problem there.

However, somebody quoted in the WP and WM pieces has a different take on Bennett: "There's a term in the trade for this kind of gambler. We call them losers."

No argument there.
