Sure It Will
ever happen. Where would the religious right go if it didn't have the GOP, besides to hell? The Constitution Party, formerly known as the American Taxpayers Party (or, as I called it, the American Taxdodgers Party)?
Don't these clowns know after ALL of these years, beginning with Nixon, but most especially with Reagan, that the Republican Party has NO intention of granting them their wish list, apart from a few crumbs here and there to pacify them? Where would the Republican Party be without all of those wedge issues like abortion, prayer, vouchers, etc.? They pander to the fundamentalists in order to get their votes and then screw them over economically. They have to KEEP pandering to them on those "social issues" and if they actually carried them out, they have no issues at all except character assassination of their opponents.
It IS the economy, stupids, not Godless America, that is important.
