case involving a person who refused to sign a waiver not to sue and was denied employment. In other words, is requiring employees to sign waivers to not sue but be forced to accept arbitration a violation of civil rights?

Possibly, but many companies are requiring employees to sign these waivers because they save companies money in legal fees. Unfortunately, all too many arbitration panels are stacked against employees.

It will be interesting to see how this case pans out.
