This So-Called

study has no business being in the NYT. As we have learned on this blog, or at least I have learned from reading this link, Paul Peterson is nothing but a right-wing hack who has some Harvard connections but is really connected with the Olin Foundation, a foundation that supports the abolition of public education (and thus teachers' unions).

The study is a fraud, just like everything else the right comes out with, and the reporter is negligent in the extreme to not point out Peterson's right-wing connections.
