are trying to spin Davis as "angry," as basically hopeless, as trying valiantly to persuade voters that he isn't the problem though "voters" are "angry" at him for essentially doing his job. One observer says he has a "huge tactical problem," and the article notes many, many people simply don't understand the recall process at all.

Well, it's never been tried for a governor of California, so it's no wonder they are confused. The Republicans who started this mess are counting on it.
