Basketball teams pick their recruits solely on the basis of how close they come to the height of the basket rather than talent. Well, it looks as if Little League is recruiting man-sized "boys" to play baseball. After all, they can hit and throw harder.
I wonder just how many of those "12-year-olds" really are 12-year-olds. It would be very, very easy to forge a birth certificate unless the teams actually did their own background checks.

The organization should probably have a weight and height limit in addition to age limits.
