Is It Any Wonder
I seldom watch any kind of so-called "talk shows"? I was working out on my ministepper and happened to flip the channel to tonight's Hardball (aka Screwball, Hairball, and other nicknames too crude to mention even on this crude blog). There was Matthews, and he was "interviewing" Joe Conason and some right-wing talk show host whose name I never heard of about "media bias."
Frankly, I don't know why Conason bothers. All Matthews did was shoot off his big trap trying to shout him down, and he took issue with some statement Conason made in his book about Coulter having been on Matthews' show eight times or something like that. Conason tried to get a word in edgewise saying a Nexis-Lexis search showed Coulter had been on the show eight times or whatever it was, but it didn't matter. It was Conason's "error" that was important, not the fact the Nexis-Lexis might have screwed up. Then the talk show guy kept interrupting Conason, and when Conason tried to be polite and asked to get a word in edgewise, he kept getting MORE interrupted.
After about five minutes of absolute bullshit, I switched channels.
If anything, the segment proved Conason's point about where the media bias is.
