anybody in the country who thinks S. can write his own speeches? I doubt he could. However, Davis chucked a speech his staffers wrote for him for yesterday's speech and wrote one entirely from scratch. He had input from friends such as Bill Clinton, but the speech was from the heart.

A lot of what he said yesterday sounds like stuff taken from discussion boards and blogs like this one. Hmmmm...

I do think, however, this tactic did Davis a great deal of good.
