The Oregon Legislature
appears to be closer to approving the state budget, even as some Republicans want to try and subvert it by "democratic" means of a ballot measure.
Assholes.
Robert Landauer of the Oregonian looks at the recent mess in Nevada and how it was solved as an example of how legislators did the right thing when they had a gun put at their heads from the court.
Unfortunately, the Oregon legislature takes its job even less seriously than Nevada's.
