The Curse of Kos strikes again as Ohio Republican Jean Schmidt defeated Democrat and veteran Paul Hackett in a special election to fill the seat vacated by Rob Portman, who got a job with the regime as a US trade representative.

The congressional district is heavily Republican, so the result is no surprise although the results were much closer than expected.
