A Broadway Actor
is going around the country doing a portrayal of one of my favorite performers, Jackie Wilson, who collapsed onstage in New Jersey 30 years ago in September, and spent the last eight years of his life in a nursing home.
Reportedly Elvis and Dick Clark helped pay for Wilson's medical expenses.
