If I Had
the endurance I had last fall when I linked almost all of the newspaper endorsements of note in the presidential race, I'd link all of the articles about reading and math scores going into the toilet.
This is Colorado's, but New Mexico's test scores were in the tank, as were Houston's, and all of the elementary schools in Carson City were in "need of improvement" as defined by NCLB, and more of Washoe County schools ended up in that category, too.
Something's screwed up, and I don't think it's the various school districts and states, either.
