This Nonsense

of comparing Peter Jennings with some of the icons of the Golden Age of Hollywood such as Cary Grant is a bit over the top.

Then again one wonders if this type of compliment is really an insult, for if one reads between the lines this could mean Jennings was all style and no substance.

When all of glowing remembrances of Jennings subside, I fully expect some sleazy tell-all books to come out.
