She talked about her book, and the Killian memos, with the Washington Post the other day.

There was never any doubt in my mind whatsoever those memos were and are genuine and most likely typed by Killian himself. Anybody with any experience on an IBM typewriter could tell you that regarding the typeface of the documents.

What was bad was the mainstream media believed the utter horseshit by a bunch of right-wing operatives posting either anonymously on Free Republic or on BLOGS, for God's sake, with all of the problems inherent in those, instead of a reputable news organization, because they stood to gain from yet another Bush term.

In the end Mapes and Rather will be vindicated. Moonves or whatever his name is ought to be sacked.
