The WSWS
has commentary on the truly catastrophic layoffs and closings by GM and what that means for the rest of the country.
It means well-paid jobs of the blue-collar sector of the economy are virtually gone.
But hey, let's focus our concerns about the trials and tribulations of female executives who can't get men, who don't have children, who can't break the glass ceiling in corporations which are screwing over both male and female workers.
Let's worry about Maureen Dowd's whining about her single status at 53 rather than the economic disaster facing tens of thousands of individuals and their families. Let's worry about that rather than the fact thousands are losing their pensions and face a terrible financial future.
Yep, many feminists definitely had and still have their priorities straight.
