Joe Jones, whose hit "You Talk Too Much" was one of those songs that always stuck in my head no matter how hard I tried to purge it out of my mind, has died at the age of 79.

According to his son, Jones died of complications from quadruple bypass surgery.

It's death for Joseph Smith, or at least 25 or 30 years on death row before he dies of natural causes.

He's the man who kidnapped, raped, and murdered 11-year-old Carlie Brucia. Her abduction, caught on tape, was broadcast all over the world in place of less important stories like the war in Iraq, the various natural disasters, and so forth.
