Yet Another Reason
why NCLB is a goddamned joke.
If the kids needed to know advanced math and honors English, they wouldn't be in special ed. Special ed teachers wouldn't be needed. Yet the morons who drafted the NCLB had the notion that all teachers had to be "experts" in every subject they teach.
I expect this provision of the law to get ditched pronto, as special ed teachers are already hard to get.
