Putting Aside

the obvious misuse of I.Q. tests in order to make predictions on how well people turn out later in life and the questionable definition of what constitutes "intelligence," this is a fairly interesting article about how much environment affects the I.Q. scores of poor children.

Remember, I.Q. tests are used to determine whether a child needs special education services, nothing more, nothing less (and they typically aren't the sole means, either). They've been distorted by people with a political agenda to push.
