don't know what in the hell I ate yesterday that gave me such a weird dream last night, but I dreamed that I had to give Sam up because his original owners showed up. Or two sets of them, anyway. The first couple claimed he was their dog, but they couldn't prove it, so I got a reprieve. Unfortunately, the second person could prove he belonged to him, but the kicker was the original owner was Regis Philbin! Not only that, but somehow he resided in little Phoenix, Oregon, and he and his wife already had 300 dogs, but they wouldn't part with Sam, no matter how much Sam wanted to be with me.

I tried to sneak him out of the household, but I was thwarted.

By that time, I woke up, and both dogs woke up with me.
