Some educators are whining because Latino college students tend to be wise enough to try and work their way through college instead of taking on monstrous debt.

There is NO guarantee, in light of "outsourcing" and the fact there are few jobs requiring a degree at all, if these students take on huge debts they will make more money after they graduate.

Celebrated liberal columnist Molly Ivins, 62, has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

My sisters saw her in person about three or four years ago in Medford, Oregon. I had a ticket to the event, but unfortunately I had to return to Reno because I had run out of money by then.

I have several of her books. Ivins was at her best when she was reaming our dictator a new one. She had observed his career as well as Turd Blossom's for years.
