Roy and Gretchen Jackson
had initially planned to bury Barbaro's cremated remains at their farm in Pennsylvania, but they thought since the public was so captivated by him, a final resting place open to the public might be more suitable.
Possible sites include the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs, the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, or even a future regional racing museum in Pennsylvania.
