Obama gets ready to announce tomorrow.
Obama is skipping the first presidential debate in Carson City. I put my name in for a ticket to see if I can attend the event in person.
The event is planned for the Carson City Community Center at 851 E. William St.
The AFSCME will be distributing tickets to its members in Northern Nevada, but how many tickets will be made available to the public is unknown, said Brian Hutchinson, Northern Nevada field director for the state Democratic Party.
"We've been told they're going to make some tickets available, but whether that means 10 or 20 or 100, we don't know yet," Hutchinson said. "We've been taking names and phone numbers and if we get tickets, they'll be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis."
Ricci said about 600 tickets will be distributed in all.
George Stephanopoulos will be the moderator.
