Presidential Notes.

The "black Jack Kennedy," as Blowhard Matthews calls him (though there was no "Black Jack" Kennedy but there was a "Black Jack" Bouvier but no matter), made his long-awaited announcement he was going to waste his time and try to run for the presidency.

The ego knows no bounds.

Granted, ALL of the candidates have egos--it goes with the territory--but this guy believes all of the hype written about him.

Here is the speech, in case the reader is interested.

Of course, this is the perfect way for the media to bury John Edwards, the one candidate who could beat and beat easily any fool the Republicans throw up our way. Or, to put it another way, it would take massive fraud for him to lose.

Meanwhile, the media's favorite, Senator Hillary Clinton, is running around Concord, New Hampshire, trying to get votes. She is trying to chart a more moderate course than some of her opponents.

It sounds like the old "triangulation" or whatever it was her husband did.

As for the Nevada forum, I didn't realize it was at 12 noon on the February 21. I may not be able to make it even if I am able to get a ticket.
