is more of a desire among some Republicans for a one-party dictatorship rather than a presidential one.
People like Norquist and Rove have never made any secret of their contempt for the two-party system and wanted perpetual Republican rule. The only way they could achieve this utopia, of course, is through outright fraud and intimidation.
The end result of the attorney scandal is much like what was done to the Clintons: harassment of the opposing political party for political gain.
Our dictator, however, is upset Gonzales, Rove, and company got caught.
