Since Media Darling Obama

is seen as a threat to Hillary Clinton, she decides to use her ace in the hole to help in the fundraising race: her husband.

Of course, John Edwards is a tenth-tier candidate in the media's eyes since he can be elected against almost anybody the Republicans run, so it must be general election loser against general election loser who they want to win the primaries.

But this is goddamned hilarious:

In short time, he helped raise about $2 million at small dinner parties in Manhattan, sometimes staying far later into the night than planned, and is now ending March with a flourish. After a gala last night headlined by Mrs. Clinton that raised $1 million, Mr. Clinton was scheduled to join her for a cocktail party this evening with the music producer Timbaland in Miami, and a second party where event chairmen were hoping to raise $100,000 each.

Even as Mr. Clinton pursues his tasks with gusto, Clinton donors and Democratic allies say that the campaign has also been sensitive about using him too much, for fear that he might overshadow his wife or come to be seen as an overused or exploited asset.

Who the hell do you think put Hillary up to running for a job I don't think she wants?

Nobody, but NOBODY, will ask the obvious question of just WHY a woman whose family was SO trashed by the opposing party when her husband was president and was even humiliated by her husband's stupidity with a groupie would EVER want to go back to that hellhole. People are scared to ask the obvious for fear of sounding sexist, but the plain truth is Hillary Clinton's husband, as an ex-president (not for the bogus scandals and crap), is a HUGE liability because of the obvious conflict of interest. I don't think Hillary wants the job, but Bill is just itching to get back into the White House, and if he can't get re-elected because of the 22nd amendment, he'll just run his old lady for the job.

Put it another way: If the 22nd amendment didn't exist, would Hillary Clinton run for president? Of course not--her husband would be running for his fifth term.

For what it's worth, I attended a Hillary Clinton fundraiser in 2008 and she said it was the New York african american democrat caucus that urged her to run for president.
