Forensic Files right now. The episode is about the 1957 murder case of two El Segundo, California, police officers, and the killer wasn't found until nearly fifty years later.

It was only because of recent technology that the killer, Gerald Mason, was finally captured. Interesting was that he never committed another crime and lived a normal life as a businessman until he was caught.
