Donna Brazile,

who has about as much credibility talking about elections as Bob Shrum, diagnoses what is wrong with our primary calendar.

I can tell you frontloading is ALWAYS bad, and it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, considering the fact the general election campaign doesn't start until October. As I wrote during the 2004 primaries, candidates NEED to have the primaries/caucuses spread out, for that not only gives them time to raise money at a more normal pace, but it also tests the candidates by putting them through a long campaign season.

Now it's just a matter of who raises the most money and who has the best "image" rather than who has the best policies to move this country forward.

Right now, the system is totally insane.
