One of the most famous adventurers of all time, New Zealand beekeeper Sir Edmund Hillary, has died at the age of 88.
I guess I should note he was one of the first two people (the other one Tensing Norgay) to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1953.
He has been critical in recent years of all of the commercialization of the climb believing the mountain should be given a "rest."
