for one of my all-time favorite musicians, the great Mississippi John Hurt. This was from Pete Seeger's television program in the mid-1960s. This couldn't have been too long before Hurt died in 1966.
Note his fingering technique, which had the effect of two guitars playing instead of just one. You hardly ever see this, and one has to have the dexterity to play like that:
