Thanks to a change in the state health insurance plan, a bunch of teachers will be retiring this year in Washoe County, and as it is the district can't give jobs away.
Quite honestly, who would do this job? Teachers have become little more than test prep professionals and glorified clerical workers.
NCLB has ruined teaching.
