Now

we are seeing Democratic Party hacks are "deeply worried" about the primaries going on and on.

These people are morons, pure and simple. Thirty-five, forty years ago, they weren't worried at all. Having extended primaries makes it MUCH tougher for the Republicans to target the Democrats because they don't know how it is going to work out.

I don't see the two remaining candidates being joined on a ticket. Obama, for one thing, is a huge liability to any ticket. If Obama were the nominee, really and truly, is any self-respecting Democrat going to want to be on his ticket?

Again, the Democrats destroyed their chances because they thought they run ANYBODY against the Republicans and win. It's not going to happen. Clinton can give McCain a run for his money, and she might do about as well as John Kerry (though Kerry actually won in 2004), but the electoral math is going to have her come up short. Obama, however, is poised to be the first 50-state loser in American history.

In this related piece, there is no way either candidate will have enough pledged delegates before the convention.
