This and the Next Couple of Videos

are of Upper Table Rock, which I hiked on Wednesday. It was the right time of year to do it, because there were all kinds of pretty wildflowers out, most notably the endangered dwarf wooly meadowfoam, which is found nowhere else on the planet but the two Table Rocks in southern Oregon. Also featured on these videos are the threatened vernal pool fairy shrimp, which are endemic to California and only in the past ten years or so were found to exist in southern Oregon. I got close to them, filming some of them swimming around, but I wasn't supposed to do it. I won't do it again:
