the proposal by the Austrian government's chancellor to try to restore the country's reputation following the Fritzl case is downright weird. As the columnist notes, it is like the United States trying to rehabilitate its reputation after the Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer murder cases:
The country will survive. I doubt the Fritzl house will be around too much longer for morbid tourists to see.
