The 1989 Triple Crown was

one of the most entertaining, with two outstanding horses, Sunday Silence and Easy Goer, dueling it out. Sunday Silence won the Derby and the Preakness, while Easy Goer easily won the Belmont:



Sunday Silence got his revenge by winning the 1989 Breeders' Cup Classic.

What the hell, let's put up the 1989 Preakness Stakes, certainly among the top 10 best races ever run in this country:
