Preakness winner Big Brown finally left Pimlico to Belmont Park for his day with destiny in about three weeks.
Speaking of Big Brown, his jockey, Kent Desmormeaux, will be in Carson City tomorrow for the grand opening of Bodines.
There is no apostrophe in the name, and there should be one, and that drives me crazy.
Also on hand will be jockeys David Flores and Mike Smith, retired jockey great Laffit Pincay, and trainer Bob Baffert.
According to the Nevada Appeal, the event will be at 4 p.m. I may drive out there and see it.
