Belmont Stakes.

It feels like eternity for Kent Desormeaux although the Belmont Stakes is a little over two weeks away.

Trainer Bob Baffert, who was at Carson City's new casino, Bodines, yesterday, credits co-owner Mike Pegram for his success in horse racing:

Baffert said when Pegram asks for a favor "people will do it for him" because he's such a genuine person. Baffert also basically credited his career to Pegram. "He is a big part of my success," Baffert said. "He is my biggest booster and my biggest fan."

Baffert got started in horse racing when Secretariat won the Triple Crown in 1973.
