Although it may be news to CNN, we Obama watchers have long known the guy could play filthy politics as well as any Chicago pol in history.
He backstabbed Alice Palmer, as we all know. And his campaign is pulling the same garbage now.
Only if he prevails in the primaries, he will be no match for the GOP smear machine, the Russert/Broder media axis, and the 527s.

What's been making me so upset these last 12 months is how good people who truly believe(d) Obama was sincere in his message are going to be heartbroken when they finally accept the truth. Gandhi was real, obama is not and it's like watching your child get her feelings hurt. I am really angry with Obama, because he has always known who he is and that he's 'just frontin'' to get elected. How dare he break the hearts of so many earnest and truly good people. I honestly like Wright better, he is honest and true.
Obama is a total cypher, and it's deliberate. Yes, at least with Jeremiah Wright you know what he stands for, even if his delivery is very off-putting.
Obama can't be trusted, not in a million years. I wish Democrats would wake up.
