I hope thoroughbred breeders will take a hard look at some of the fashionable bloodlines they are perpetrating to the detriment of the sport. A generation ago, you didn't see the fatal breakdowns you see in top races today. New blood, even if this means more Arabian bloodstock, needs to be infused into the breed.
If breeders don't take a hard look, animal rights nuts are going to get more support for their radical agenda. That cannot be allowed to happen.
