Because our incompetent governor has had so many problems during his tenure so far, could a nasty divorce ruin him for good? Especially since this would be his second one.
Probably one of the reasons he wants to keep the proceedings and documents secret is because of his re-election ambitions for 2010.
It never ceases to amaze me Nevadans elected him, regardless of Dina Titus' "likability" problems, knowing how stupid and corrupt he is.
Speaking of the wife, Dawn Gibbons is spending this Mother's Day driving a nail through the marriage with her work for Habitat for Humanity.
In seriousness, this divorce could get extremely nasty. Although the people of Nevada in their infinite stupidity elected Jimbo, Dawn and her lawyer believe she deserves her position as first lady because--correctly--she was the one who put her husband on the map.
Dawn was always known as the smart one in that marriage, not that it is saying much.
