Old Jimbo decided to go on the attack against the Elko Daily Free Press by claiming its editorial of last week mentioning his extramarital affair with a doctor's wife allegedly named Kathy is out of line and in bad taste.

Okay, Jimbo, if you have nothing to hide, let's make your divorce completely transparent to the public.

I strongly agree with Nevada law, which states that each party to a divorce action has the right to privacy in the proceedings. In that light, I have tried hard to ensure that personal matters remain just that … personal. Because of many rumors being circulated, I have actually replied to such a personal question, when a reporter asked me directly if I had a girlfriend. I answered that direct statement with a direct reply. No. That was not some slick spin machine, as your editorial writer would have people believe. That was me answering a question.
