Hee Haw's Jim Hager, one of the Hager twins, died of a heart attack at the age of 66. He collapsed in the parking lot in front of the Frothy Monkey coffeehouse. He was pronounced dead later.
He and his brother Jon were very popular on the series, and they received more mail than anybody else on the show. They left the series in 1988.
