Russert's hometown of Buffalo, New York, is remembering him on this Father's Day. Russert left Italy early, leaving wife Maureen and son Luke behind so he could work on preparing for Meet the Press.
His father, known as "Big Russ," is 84 and is living in an assisted care facility. Tim had just moved him there last week.
