Tour de Nez twilight criterium race:





One more shot. All of the other stages are in Truckee or up at Tahoe.




Another shot. One didn't need air conditioning with the breeze these 75 riders created.

This was a better view yet. It wasn't long before "everybody else" started going where I went.




You can't get too close to these guys if you want to live. I decided to move around the course and get other views.



This was at the very beginning of the 75-minute race. This year the organizers held the criterium at the Grand Sierra Resort instead of downtown. While this route was visible to virtually everybody there, the location meant there weren't near as many people attending as in the past. Alex Candelario, the guy who won this stage of the race last year, was in this year's race, and after being twenty seconds ahead in the very final laps, he finished way up in the pack.
